The Envelope Please...

I was recently blessed by some friends with a new laptop and wanted to make them a special thank you. I paired up some fun Crafty Secrets products, MME paper and PTI die to make this card. Lisa's card was a springboard for this creation. Like the lady in this picture the thought of a computer - was on the drawing board but know where in the near future. There is a cute little flying pig with this stamp set that I am going to incorporate in my note. The definition of Imagination is on the Tom Holtz tape.

I had the opportunity to view a great tutorial on PTI's  Make It Monday about packaging cards which inspired the  envelope above using one of their special issued stamps.  The focus was dealing with cards larger then A2 or those with embellishments. This card qualified on both accounts.

I also needed to make a wedding card which is past due. My card was inspired by this card on SCS .

And the envelope please....
You know it's a good day when I  get to stamp on an envelope and then get it in the mail too - WOW! So needless to say I enjoyed playing dress up with these envelopes. Now grant it I won't be placing these in the mail but I will be able to deliver them with a smile : )
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can find the extraordinary in the ordinary of your day!

Thanks Again!!

Another quick thank you using just one of the borders from the Crafty Secrets Vintage Christmas CD that I used in my previous post. I love the fact that even though it is a page of Christmas borders you can use many of the borders individually for occasions other than Christmas!  It is  paired up with a special issued Papertrey Ink stamp that I picked up on Etsy. Once again thanks for stopping by!!

Christmas Notes and Gift Idea

I was excited to receive as a gift Crafty Secrets Vintage Christmas images! When I saw the page of borders I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I printed the sheet onto cardstock and then cut it into four pieces and mounted it  on vanilla cardstock.

I printed out two sheets and had a set of eight notecards. I made a small vanilla border on the bottom of these cards and a gold border on the cards above.

I then placed them in a clear box with a bow and some small die cut glittered snowflakes. I am a happy stamper - I now have some thank you notes and a quick and easy gift idea for next Christmas! Sorry for the not so great photo of the boxed cards as they say - it looks much better in person : )  For some reason I just couldn't justify spending more time on the photo then the cards - LOL! If you have time come and join the fun at Crafty Secrets Linky Party!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
