Thinking of You on a Snowy Day

Last week we saw our first snowfall  of the season!  It inspired me to make a quick set of note cards. I took one of the 12 x 12 papers from Crafty Secrets Vintage Christmas Papers and

printed it out as a 6 x 6. Then I folded it in half to create a sweet 3 x 6 card. What I love about this project is the rest of the snowy field created a beautiful back and there was no need to mount it on cardstock.  I just added some fine glitter, Flower Soft, and ribbon trim and I was done. In an hour or less I made six cards. This card fits nicely in one of those fun 3.5 x 6.5 envelopes. I was on a mission to send out some "Thinking of You" cards and this paper was  perfect for getting the job  done!

I told you this was our first snowfall of the season and it might be our only one so when our little guy came home from school he headed straight outside for some trampoline fun! We ended up with 3- 4 inches which was exciting for the kids. The only bad thing was the snow started after school on a Friday so  no snow day from school! I know those of you who are north of the Mason Dixon Line are probably laughing, but it is what it is : )
Thanks for stopping by and may you enjoy the moments you are given!

AWESOME card my friend and I too LOVE the design paper. In fact I used it to make altered tablets for all the families who came to our Christmas Party in December. Before printing, I turned it 'landscape' and inserted their last name to personalize each one. They loved them.
Your little guy looks like he's having SO MUCH FUN!! Good for him! It is snowing AGAIN today and we already have 3-4" on the ground from Saturday. We've actually had more snow already this year then we did of all last year.
Stay warm ... MISS YOU!

The snow on the branches and falling from the sky are so pretty...on the card!;) Looks like he had a lot of fun playing on the trampoline in the snow.

Cute note card. Sometimes it is fun just to stay inside and watch it snow. If I was in Boston, MA this weekend, that's just what I would do. They are suppose to get slammed with a big blizzard. Yes, 18-24 inches of powder and 65 mile an hour winds, heard it on the news. Ha! Ha!
